1995 Michael Aspel presented Frank with the This Is Your Life book as he encored after a sell-out gig at The London Palladium. In October, The Frank Skinner Show, Series One, broadcast on BBC1, Sunday nights, attracting over 7 million viewers per show.  The show was nominated for a Royal Television Society Awards. In March, a second series of Fantasy Football League broke all ratings records for the time slot, attracting over 3.5 million viewers.  When The David Letterman Show was broadcast in the same slot on the same channel it achieved only a fifth of the ratings.
